BALKANOVA played  with STOYAN YANKOULOV  in 2010 at the BERLIN BALKAN SLAM-FESTIVAL PFEFFERBERG HAUS  13. The new festival BERLIN BALKAN SLAM in Pfefferberg presented a colorful, traditional and modern variety of BALKAN music. Two Bulgarian musicians played at the festival: the drummer and percussionist Stoyan Yankoulov and the accordion player Martin Lubenov.

Stoyan Yankoulov played both days, the first with BalkaNova – a trio with a singer from Berlin:Viktoria Lasaroff, and the second witha newly established Festival-Quartet: Stoyan Yankoulovs (drums); Jonathan Robinson (bass); Vladimir Karparov (sax); Andreas Brunn (guitar).
